Langham Community Council was a committee which was originally set up to run the Langham Village Hall. However the Village Hall burnt down in 1985 and the new Community Centre was built and this is still run by the Community Council. It presently comprises of elected committee officers, representatives of all the village groups, who use the facilities and co-opted members from the village community.
The present Langham Community Centre is used by various clubs and is available to hire for a variety of events.
The Community Centre today is used by various clubs within the village as well as for auctions, wedding receptions, exhibitions, parties, dances, plays, etc.
The Community Centre is available to hire for events.
Please note that this is the Langham in Essex which is close to the Essex/Suffolk border, and not the Langham in Norfolk, Suffolk or Rutland!
