Langham:
1. Langham is about half way between Colchester and Ipswich and is close to the A12. The northern boundary of the parish is also the boundary between Essex and Suffolk.
2. The parish is relatively large in terms of area, being 2977 acres or 1205 hectares. The soil is mixed and most of the land is agricultural.

4 Millennium Projects: In order to plan for the Millennium celebrations a Committee was set up and eight projects and two entertainment events were planned. Some of the projects were designed to bring a long term benefit to the village.
